New Car, Old Car
We just bought a new 2007 Toyota Rav4. It's a pretty sweet ride, being a new car and all. They updated the model this year, so it's a lot better than previous years's models and the current Highlander, which is supposed to be the next higher end model. Can't wait to test it out, driving around like I own the road and being dismissive of everyone else driving their crappy, old, rusty cars.
So now we got a 1989 Plymouth Voyager LE minivan for sale.
Anybody got any good ideas for selling the minivan?
Anybody actually want to buy the minivan? $1000 OBO? What would you pay for the car?

Your new RAV4 is pretty sweet.
The Blue Book Value of 1989 Voyager LE is $19.95. Oops, my mistake, that's actually how much it'll cost you to scrap it.
How in the world did you manage to keep a Voyager LE running for 17 years?!
Wow. Well at first I thought $1000 was a pretty good deal since I checked eBAY
Then again... this review didn't make it like I should even consider it.
The title was "Do not even consider buying this vehicle".
But for a running vehicle, I think that $1000 isn't unreasonable "as-is".
Sweet ride Sunny. I don't know anything about old minivans other than it sounds like you got your moneys worth and more out of this one already. Anything else is probably just icing.
Enjoy your new wheels.
Sounds like not too many people are fond of the Voyager...But hey, it still works and I don't expect it to stop working anytime soon.
Sure, it's got a few quirks, but hey, doesn't that add character?
After all, isn't personality important, too, and not just the body?
Oh my god, it's DRE!!
Try donating the Voyager to charity. Ask for a tax receipt for $1000 and use for tax credit.
I do like Toyotas, and unlike most other SUV's, it's not huge gas guzzler.
And I also like Anon's idea to donate your old van to charity.
Then, when you drive you RAV4 down, you can judge people for have rusty, gas guzzlers, and be immune to critism , due to your moral high ground.
We'll see what we can do with the van. Thanks for yo suggestions.
I'll try to keep the moral high ground without being too derogatory.
I say charge people $15 to get ten minutes with a baseball bat and the Voyager.
Man, I really gotta proof-read.
